The PAWTY got crashed

Well, I thought I was going to have the house to myself for my big PAWTY... No such luck.

Around 7:30 last night, Mom came home to let me out, feed me and give me my pills. I knew she was coming so that wasn't a problem. She brought Sky!! Can you believe it. I'm supposed to have the place to myself and now I have to watch my little brother too. What a drag... Mom said he had to come home because the little biped learned how to open the zippers on the tent and they were worried that she would let Sky out of the tent in the middle of the night. They didn't want to end up chasing him again while on a camping trip; especially in the middle of the night and in the dark. Canyon got to stay because he's part lab and doesn't have the husky predisposition to run. He's also scared of a lot of things and would probably be too afraid to try and go for a romp through the woods in the middle of the night. Boy... he doesn't know what he's missing. Anyhusky who's ever gotten to go for an an untethered run knows this is the best thing in the world. Can I get a WOO-WOO anyhusky? Well, it wasn't too bad having Sky around. I made him be our butler in exchange for hanging out with the cool dogs.
The night really got going later on; it was about 1am. We all had our silly PAWTY hats on, and I was up quite a bit in the poker game. Here we are playing cards and I just got dealt 2 aces in the hole. Of course I raised the bet. On the flop, there was another ace, and two kings. I had a realy good hand now (full house - ACE OVER KINGS!!!). I went all in. The river comes out and I've got - you guessed it - ANOTHER ACE!!!!!! I was so excited, I was about to win 400 dog biscuits. Then the door opens. Here comes Mom and the little biped.. The child wouldn't sleep in the tent because there was a DJ and karaoke. The music was too loud. I don't know what the issue was since they both went to bed right away.

They didn't bring Dad and Canyon home. They stayed at the campground, and my pawty had to end. Sorry to ruin everyone's night... but hey - I still got all the dog biscuits since I had four Aces and a King kicker!

2 woo woos:

Sounds like a good pawty even with a few interruptions. :)

Hope your Dad has a safe trip to Portland today. :)
