Quiltin' Time

Hi Everydoggy,

Mom has been hard at work doing lots of things lately. One of the more important things is completing 3 quilted photo frames. These were items won in MaPaw's most recent ebay auction. Each one will be customized for the pack it's going to. The one I am modeling in these pictures will be sent to the Mom and Dad of Lucy, Kosmo, Clyde, Thunder and little foster orphan Annie. I had lots of fun helping mom but, it's time for bed. Quilting is hard work.
pssst....I heard mom say something about making a doggy quilt for the silent auction at the Hike N' Howl. I'll keep you posted as a learn more about this.

That would be so cool! I won a quilt made by the Ao4's human in an auction for Harnessed to Hope! It is be-woo-tiful!

Your mommy is very talented Kelsey. Quilting is the one hobby our mommy has not gotten into. She can sew, does embroidery, crochet, knit, draws, etc. She tried quilting once - it's in the back of a closet somewhere. Her sister is very into quilting these days tho.

That is so neat that your Mom knows how to make a quilt. Very talented. :) And it sounds like it takes patience.

Thanks so much for nominating us as a ROCKIN Girl blogger. That was so nice of you!

Also, congratulations on being featured on the Husky Ring. :) You look great!

Good luck with all of your projects!

That's so cool! Your mommy is a crafty-lady. Hand-made quilts are beautiful keepsakes. My mommy is into counted x-stitch,machine sewing, needlepoint, knitting, & crocheting. Many years ago she used to work at a Lee Wards (Michaels) so she could get materials to work with at special prices for her craft addiction. She draws great stick figures! Sewing & quilting are not one of her skills. When she hand sews a hem don't check out her stitches cuz they are not even. She works better with canvas that has holes to regulate size of stitches. Maybe your mom could teach her.

Kelsey, your Mom is good at that! We run away when we see our Mom reach for the sewing box. She says bad words like the ones we heard Dad say about the powder room sink this past weekend. WOO!

Echo- humans act so stupid when they get upset. I run and hide when I hear "those" words.
