Good Night, Sleep Tight

Hello everydoggy,

In honor of last night's full moon, we thought we'd share our bedtime ritual with you. Even Hennessy joined us.

First, we get our bedtime stories with the Little Biped. The little biped has really good taste when it comes to books. The books on this particular night were about zoo and farm animals. Next, she says prayers. She always makes sure to include us in her "God blesses." She even started including Hennessy. Then, she goes to bed. Next, we get to go outside.

Then, we get our food. Once we're well fed, we dictate our blog posts and visit all of our blogging doggy friends to read their posts and leave comments. After that, we watch some TV; then, we're ready for bed.

So, I guess it's off to watch Animal Planet.

Woo woo, Kelsey Ann

P.S. I am sad. My friend, Hennessy, went home with his Mom and Dad Thursday night. I had gotten a 10-day reprieve from the Annoying One jumping on me when I come up the stairs. That's all over now. Nighty-night. Oh, and don't let the fleas bite......ha roo roo roo!

13 woo woos:

That's a good ritual. Sounds a lot like ours, minus the mini-biped!

I'm sorry your friend is gone, but at least he is back with his family!

That was so nice of you to take care of your friend. Maybe he'll come back and visit sometime.

We like your nighttime ritual. Sounds cozy and very family orientated. :)

Thanks for always looking out for us and checking in. We just haven't had any exciting pics to post lately. My parents said they'll work on that.

That's a good one. You could have made it into a tag game.

Thank you for saying you will look after me in the army. That was very kind of you. I have some lovely girlfriends in the army so I guess I am a bit more resigned to it now.

Oh, Kelsey Ann! What a really nice post! I just LOVE that picture of you having story time with your little biped! I just LOVE little bipeds! And I love seeing your whole pack together!
I know you'll miss Hennessey, but I'll bet he's happy to be home. I think we should get Zim and Canyon together; they'd be a good pair. :)
Love,
Amber

Mom's impressed that you all stay quiet during storytime. She doesn't think I'd stay still long enough. Hmmph. Don't know why she'd think that! Apparently she says I can't sit still upstairs in her bedroom either. Imagine that!

No little biped here, but The Mom does read those goofy mystery books outloud sometime. I REALLY like the ones that Sue Henry does with Tank in them......... sigh.

That sounds like a good bedtime ritual. Our ritual is to go potty, then run back inside and Mom says "bedroom" and we run into the bedroom. She gives us a bedtime treat and then after she and Dad get in bed, we jump on the bed too and make them sleep curled up so we can hog the bed!

What a fun bedtime routine! Ours sounds more like Steve & Kats, except when the BoogieBoy is here, then we get a chapter or 2 in his book before "tuck-in time"
We'll bet Hennessey will be back to visit soon & often, though he's probably really happy to be home with his own humans again.
