Well, Mom is so proud of herself. She keeps telling everyone, "I did not fail transport again." I, for one, am glad she didn't fail. Training a puppy is hard work and I like to relax and snooze a lot. We all said our goodbyes this morning.
Bye, Bye Rocky
Mom, Dad, and the toddling biped took Rocky to meet up with the rest of the MaPaw family. They were at a Meet and Greet at the Graeme Historical Site in Horsham, Pennsylvania. The park was having a Celtic Festival. Mom said there were lots of guys walking around in skirts called kilts. Humans are so strange.
These sure are strange
Rocky got to meet Ma and Pa and some of MaPaw's voluteers. There were a few of MaPaw's alumni doggies and more importantly there were foster doggies there showing off their best qualities. Mom told me she was so excited to see Maximus again. For those doggies that didn't know, we were Maximus's first foster home....we were the ones who helped him recover from his surgery. I promise that we didn't laugh at him when he had to wear one of those stupid lampshade thingys on his head!
The doggy sitting is Maximus and the one in front is Elvis, an alumni MaPaw doggy.
12 woo woos:
Misty is always so camera shy! The pics of Rocky, Canyon & biped Princess are the best
That is really great that you were able to help Rocky get to where he needs to go in order to find a forever home. My Mom isn't sure how to get involved in that up here in Maine. Any ideas?
Looks like you all had a great day. Least the skirts didn't go on any of you lovable huskies. :P
wwops, forgot there was a dog named Princess! You little biped looks like a princess to us too!
and if Guinness had been there, she would have goosed those silly guys in skirts. somehow that's where she looses all of her ladylike tendencies. She gooses dad with her nose under his towel when he gets out of the shower. We call her "Poke-a-nose." when she does that.
Bummer!! I was hoping Rocky would get to become a transport failure and get to stay!! Oh well, I sure hope he finds the right family.
Maximus looks great! I sure hope he gets his beautiful fur back.
Holly
You got to go to the event Saturday? My humans left me at home.
They'll be getting a claw for that when they get home from work...
Your mom is doing such a wonderful thing! Be sweet to her. It is hard to let a foster go.
What's with the miniature human in those pics? Never seen that before.
Those legs look ripe for biting. Gotta go, the UPS man is coming!!!

Hi-woo,
Your mom did not fail transport! I thought she would cave it & you would keep the little tyke. I guess misery wuvs company. Having a little one isn't so bad, though. Mommy shares her love & I still get lots of hugs, kisses & scratches. Did ya look up their skirts, huh?!?! Maximus looks good. I live too far away, sigh, so I can't come to the meet & greets.

G&S- THanks for the compliments
Amici- Mom's looking into suggestions for you. It is lots of fun helping other doggies
Holly- mom said we can't get another one until we have another biped. Mom said Max's fur is starting to grow back
Sasha- DOn't worry I wasn't there....mom just reported the facts to me to post.
Bailey- I try to be nice. We like our little biped, except for when she pulls our tails
Cosmos- You should try to talk your mom into coming for the hike. It's going to be lots of fun!
It's a good thing Steve wasn't at that festival because every time Mom wears a skirt, he sticks his face up it. That would have been really embarrassing!!
Kat
Awww.. bye bye cute little freckle nose Rocky!!! Look at that handsome Maximus!!
Hugs,
Sitka
We LOVE the pix of your little biped with Rocky! Our mom would have cried saying good bye to Rocky - was it hard for your mom?
Maximus is looking good! How is his fur doing?
Love,
Amber
