It's a Conspiracy!

Hey Pups!

We are all still reeling from Turbo and Khyra's loss on election day. It's been a rough week for all of us. When are humans going to learn that we need to vote alongside them and they need to join us and vote for the Sibertarian Party for REAL CHANGE!

Mom came home yesterday telling me she saw this really astonishing photo in the newspaper.

(AP Photo/Dave Weaver)

Can you believe these squirrels? Do they really think they have more patriotism than us? I really think this is the ring leader our failed efforts at the polls! I think our Siberians at Law Meeshka and ECHO need to prosecute this squirrel to the full extent of the law for their supression of our votes on Tuesday!

We must come together and fight this oppression!

Election Excitement

Hey Puppers,

I was so excited last night waiting for the election results and hoping to see Turbo and Khyra get elected. Unfortunately, I never saw the final vote results until this morning because I fainted when I heard the breaking news headlines: Dogs and Cats Turned Away at Polls, Very Few Votes for Sibertarians in Early Results.

Because of this fainting spell, I didn't get my hussy shot taken for this month. Sorry, everyone.

This morning, I checked the results of the election on a news website. Can you believe a human won the White House for the 44th time in a row!

Shower Please and last Trivia

Hey Pups,
The humans have been up for a really long time. Dad has been up since 7am yesterday and Mom since 830am yesterday. Neither of them has gotten showers since yesterday morning. We're giving away the final prize which was donated by Fur the Animals, a bottle of pet deodorant.

Other prizes during the last 23 hours have come from Khyra, Mapaw, and the Army of Four's Mom (that prize will be given away at 9am). Thank woo all for your donations!
To win this prize answer the question:
What is the adoption fee for a Mapaw dog?
When we get the answer to this question, it will become clear why Mapaw needs donations. Dogs like Brandi, Biloxi, Callie and others in the past and future have vet bills which exceed this cost. Mapaw is a non-profit so every donation (no matter how small) helps.
Oh and by the way, Congratulations to Team Husky on winning the bracelet. Did you notice when looking for the answer to this prize that the sale of one of these bracelets feeds a rescue dog for one week?
Kisses, Sky boy

Siberian Love Beads

Mapaw volunteers make these bracelets which are sold on the Mapaw website. "While they were not made by tiny Siberian paws, helpful Huskies closely monitored their design and quality control. All proceeds go to the care of the dogs"

We are giving away one of these bracelets. The picture is of samples only. Each of these bracelets is unique, so we don't know what the actual prize will look like. In order to win this, we're looking for the answer to:

If you were going to buy two of these bracelets, what would your cost be including S&H?

Congratulations to Sitka for winning the last prize of a 2007 Hike N' Howl t-shirt.

We have a winner!!!!

Hey Everydoggy,
I was looking forward to playing a game of "Clue" with all my bloggers friends, but Sky's girlfriend, Lola, was just too darn smart. Lola is the first one to guess that my humans went to visit Mickey Mouse at Disney World. They told me they got her a pawsome present!
Woo woo, Kelsey Ann
Thanks to everyone who guessed in my game. Pippa was close, but I was looking for an exact location in the state!

MaPaw Calendar is Available

It's me, Canyon. I managed to steal the computer from Mom and Kelsey so I could tell you about my proudest moment. The MaPaw Calendar is available. Click here to order for only $15.95 + $2.50 S&H (price gets lower for multiples). Don't forget, I'm featured in October because I was the big winner of the MaPaw Howl-o-ween Photo Contest. When you go to the website, you can view the cover, the reverse and each month. Here's some of our favorites. The calendar has pictures of MaPaw dogs and sometimes their fur-sibs who live with them. Kelsey was Miss February in the first MaPaw calendar, and Kelsey and Sky also got their picture in the 2007 edition. It's finally my turn!!!

Here's the cover featuring Rudy. Rudy was Ma's first Siberian and he's gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

May features these sibes at a very picturesque locale

July has a sibe about to go for a swim

And of course, here I am featured on Howl-o-ween

Don't forget that the big guy in the red suit likes to give calendars as stocking stuffers and he always needs help shopping, so you might as well order more than one - remember the price gets lower when you order more.

Unanimous Decision!

Thank you to all you doggies who voted for your favorite visitor. I am pleased to announce that the favorite doggy visitor is ANYBODY. I think us doggies need to work a little harder at playing "hard to get". We need to make sure the humans have to work for our attention.

If you haven't voted yet, please vote on our new poll. I would like to lobby against whichever is the most despised grooming device. MayaMarie has offered to destroy our furminator in the pool cleaner. I might just have to take her up on that offer.

For the doggy who asked if the furminator hurts, no, it doesn't but it's annoying and humiliating. I feel naked when it's all over with!!!!
