Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy...

I've gone fishing several times with Mom and Dad over the years. And Dad always seems to make the joke that you can "call" fish - just like a turkey hunter would "call" the turkey in by imitating a turkey sound. Dad's fish call goes "Here Fishy, Fishy, Fishy." Sometimes, it works and sometimes it doesn't...

Well, the fish call must've worked for Mom this week. She works with disabled children and during the summer gets to do lots of fun things with them like going to the pool, the zoo, the golf course and fishing. This week, she went fishing with one of her clients. Mom caught a 20" rainbow trout that weighed 2 lbs!!!

Well tonight she cooked it and fed it to the family - us included!!!!

Here I am getting to eat my share. Of course I got mine first.

Here's Sky checking out his share and waiting like a perfect gentleman that he always is when he gets a treat.

Sky really enjoyed his share.

Canyon wouldn't listen when Mom told him to sit. Instead, he thought it was a game. Here he is in a play-bow.

Canyon couldn't even wait for his to get in the bowl.

(I think that trout tastes a lot like salmon...)
