Hey Pups,
Christmas Eve and Christmas
Santa Paws was here to visit! Here are some of the pictures.
The little biped shows a toy ice cream set from Grandma and Pop on Christmas Eve.
Every year, Santa Paws leaves a gingerbread house for the bipeds.
She tore open the presents really fast this year (the blue box in front of the fire place is for us!).
Presents at Gama and Paw-paw's house later Christmas Day. Great-gama and Great-pop were there too.
This is what was in the blue box for us! Treaties! Woo-woo!
Meadow with her bone and tomato squeekie from the bipeds.
Canyon thinks his bone is lip-smacking good. He got a strawberry (star-berry in little biped speak) squeekie.
My squeekie is a pineapple. I like it because it's yellow. Orange is my favorite color toy, but yellow is a close second. If they're any other color, you can take it back to the store.
Here's Meadow checking out some of the little biped's toys.
We forgot to bring our bones upstairs with us later, but Meadow brought them all up for us later on. Thanks, Meadow, your a sweetie.
Christmas morning, we also watched the Disney parade on TV and saw Santa Paws at Disney after his marathon trip around the world.
The Day After Christmas
Dad had the day off of work yesterday and Mom had to work, so us pups and the little biped stayed home with Dad and played all day. After Mom got home from work, the bipeds went out to see the new Disney Pixar, Bolt.
Brief plot summary - It's about a white husky (voice by John Travolta) who gets adopted by a little girl (voice by Miley Cyrus) as a puppy from the shelter. A few years later, they are starring in a TV show. The dog has super powers (and he doesn't realize he only has them on TV). He accidentally ends up in a box being shipped from Hollywood to NYC and has to find his way home.
After their trip to the movie theater, they came home with a sick little biped. Fever and vomiting. She passed out on the couch and Mom and Dad left her there since it was easier for her to get off the couch and to the bathroom than from her bed. We went back to the bedroom to snuggle with Mom and Dad and watch TV.
Santa Paws must have gotten home around midnight. Apparently, the reindeer were very tired from riding Splash Mountain and the landing was a bit rough. So rough, it shook the earth. We heard a rumble like thunder and a little bit of shaking. This morning, we found out it was an 3.3 magnitude earthquake and not a crash landing at the North Pole. Glad to hear Santa is OK - just hoping no one was hurt or had serious damage to their homes or businesses. The epicenter was about 31 miles from here.
Today's plans include - sleep, go out to pee, chew on a bone, sleep some more, etc... Meanwhile, Mom and Dad are hoping the little biped feels better soon so they will be able to go see Nana, Pap, Great-Grandpa, Mom's Aunts and Uncles, and the little biped's Uncles and Aunt as planned.
