Hey Everydoggy!
I didn't get a chance to share this story until mom and dad came home. This event happened the night before they left on vacation.
Mom had the bright idea that since Sky's zinc supplement seemed to be working so well and he wasn't licking metal anymore and scratching his face to a bloody, scaly pulp that she could cut back on his dosage.....
I told her this wasn't a good idea and she should stick with the recommended dosage.......and look what happened....
This was mom and dad's nice, expensive, Crosgill bed skirt. Here's a better picture of Sky's HULA manuever....
He was so fixated on licking the metal bed frame that nothing was going to stand in his way....yeah, who's the best doggy in the world now????? Mom reported even the box frame was soaking wet where it was next to the metal.....
Sky got off without any punishment because mom knew it was her fault and he has a medical condition for an excuse....
Woo woo, Kelsey Ann
(I guess it's good Mom knows how to use a sewing machine!)
15 woo woos:
Oh, what a shame. Your mom is a kind human. We're glad she knows what the problem is.
jans funny farm
My buckethead brother has the zinc responsive dermatosis too, but he never licked metal! He just got the scabby crusty face thing.
Nope, don't stop the zinc, cuz bad things happen!!
Hbbb
oh dear. More zince needed.
Simba x
hmm, perhaps he's got a fabric responsive dermatitis as well. At least its in a nice straight line, I don't know what the humans are complaining about, just cut it off at the line and be done with it. So its a little shorter... harumpf.
Meeshka
Meeshka is probably khorrekht - fabrikh responsive dermatitis it is!
Maybe some khottonseed oil is needed!
Ha roooo rooooo ROOOOO!
Don't get blown away out there today!
Wags&Wuv,
Khyra
That appears to be a great lookout post for any AO4 Trooper. Otherwise I suspect Mom will now have a ruffled bed skirt.
ECHO
I think Sky was just looking for me under that bed! I'll try to explain to him that I'm not made out of metal.
Lola
That is a pretty neat looking job really!!
River

Aww, Sky, dontcha know that metal isn't good for woo? Tearing the bed shirt looks like fun though, but our momma doesn't have one.
Woo hoo Kelsey Ann! Woo are the best doggie!
Keep it husky,
Thunder & Stormy
Oh, no! I'm impressed he even knew there was metal under there. Do you think he could smell it?
Good luck dusting off the bobbins!
I don't understand this. If it's not a cat and it's not buttered toast or other scrummieis I'm struggling.
Kelsey, do you really think I look like Canyon? (I think he is rather handsome myself... and not really annoying.) You could be right. I guess that's cross huskies for you. But we are all still nice. Honest.
Pippa xx
That is too bad but at least your Mom realizes that it was her fault.. You have a great Mom you better take good care of her..
Big Sloppy Kisses
Gus and Louie
Ooops.
Well, at least your mom knows it's all her fault. NEVER the pup's fault - NEVER! Stormy taught me that. She's really smart.
Play bows,
Zim
It must be nice to have a medical condition for an excuse to be bad!
