7 Weird Things About Us

We were tagged by Quincy and Summer and Prince of Team Husky to play this tag game. We have to tell you seven weird things about us.

1) Canyon sleeps on Mom's feet. Dad doesn't like a dog on his side of the bed. Sky and I spread out and take up too much room, so we aren't allowed on the bed. The only place left for Canyon is on Mom's feet. Me, I think it's because he's a spoiled brat and Mom let's him get away with it.

2) Sky likes horses. We live in Amish country. Everytime he sees a horse and buggy go by (we usually see about 15 per day), he gets excited. He used to scream like a chainsaw and try to break loose from his leash or jump over the six-foot fence, but then he got a "come or else" collar and that taught him not to get so excited about it.

3) Most toys are immortal in this household. We have some stuffies which were bought when I first came to live with Mom and Dad after they adopted me from MaPaw seven years ago. They just don't get destroyed (Sky did go through a short phase of doing this, but only with dollar-store toys). Sky and Canyon will fight over toys and bones, but they don't play tug-of-war. They lay on the floor and bark at each other with the object of desire on the floor between them. Whomever barks loudest wins, but even when Sky wins, he lets Canyon have it.

4) I yell at Canyon every time he comes near me. My arthritis makes stairs hard enough; I don't need the Annoying One jumping on me while climbing them.

5) I'd make a good boxing referee. I let the play-fights between Canyon and Sky go on for a little while and then I break it up. Whenever their playing gets too loud and out of control, I step in between them and push them apart.

6) Canyon is scared of most people. There are a few people he sees often enough that he is OK with them. Most of the time, he just backs away slowly with his ears down and his tail between his legs when he meets someone new.

7) Shhh... This is a secret, I'll only share with my blogging friends. Mom and Dad think I can't hear anymore. I just pretend because I'm the queen and I can do whatever I want.

One final runner-up for this list. Canyon is stupid. He doesn't know how to act innocent after destroying something. This week, Mom found one of her sweaters, which had been neatly folded in the closet, laying on Sky's bed (see he tried to get Sky falsely accused) with a large hole in it. When Mom asked Sky what happened, he wagged his tail. When she asked Canyon, he cowered, put his ears back and tail between his legs, and hid under the kitchen table.

What's Going On Here?????

Hello Everydoggy, Something is definitely amiss in our house.

This is me looking very happy on one of my thrones on Saturday.

This is me today!!!!!!!
Even Sky is miserable!

Do you see what's missing? Yes, exactly, my throne and all five thrones have gone missing! Some of them are Sky and Canyon's beds.....but as Queen I reserve the right to "borrow" them whenever I like.
The annoying one seems to be the only one not bothered by the situation.
This is what has become of our beds. Mom says they needed a good cleaning and she was on a cleaning spree yesterday, so this is what we are left with. She still has not put the throne covers in the washing machine. She says she has to wait until all of the biped laundry is finished. I think I am going to claw her until she returns the covers and puts my thrones back in order. I will keep you posted on the situation.

Until then I am giving mom the cold shoulder....

Oh, and it gets even better yet, Mom made a cake yesterday for our Paw-Paw's birthday (Mom's step dad). He grew up on a farm in Minnesota and loves tractors. They were supposed to eat it tonight but their flight back from Texas got delayed and they will have to come over tomorrow for cake. We are trying to figure out how to get the cake from off the top of the stove, but not have succeeded yet! Wish me luck!!!! Hey, Echo, Cake Alert!!!!!!

Oh, I almost forgot, our friend, Bama, tagged us to share what our theme songs would be. This was a really hard task but we think we came up with some good ones.

Kelsey Ann- "Respect" by Aretha Franklin or "Dancing Queen" by ABBA
Sky- "Run Away" by Bon Jovi
Canyon- "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" by Aerosmith (that's the lab part of him coming out) and "Ain't Too proud to Beg" by the Temptations

We tag anydoggy who would like to share their theme song!

Husky Wheels

We've been tagged by Guiness and Shiloh of the Stoutino Inn and Foster Kennel. The game is to tell what car you best resemble or shows your personality.

Since I'm the queen, Dad thought I was most like a Ford Crown Victoria. Although I am much prettier than a black and white, I would have to be a police car version of the Crown Vic. I police the activity of my domain and use my authority for leverage whenever possible. Besides that, I'm a queen and wear a crown.

Sky would be a Black GMC Denali. It's an extra large vehicle just like Sky is an extra large husky. Our Paw-paw has one and we think he is quite the gentleman and Sky is a very gentlepup with good manners so we think this fits Sky well.

I got to pick Canyon's best-suited vehicle. I think he is a Volkswagon Bug.......get it...he's annoying and always bugging me!!!!! Am I good or what? That was way TOO easy! I think Amber from the Army of Four would find my little joke very amusing.

I tag Blue and Magmun from MaPaw, Ivy, Ferndoggle, and my new boyfriend, Pippa. I can't wait to see everyone's answers.

Middle Name Tag!

We've been tagged by Shiloh and Guiness to share our middle names and what the letters of them would mean. So I'll go first...

A-alpha

N-nosing through the garbage for used tissues

N-nappy time

Sky's next, Dad said he doesn't have a middle name because it would mess with the whole Sky-Kapp thing....get it....Skycap? I think Dad travels too much on business. Dad did suggest his nickname could be flyboy.

F-furry

L-loveable

Y-yammering like a chainsaw

B-bossy

O-obedient (as long as I'm inside the house)

Y-yell at mom and dad if I want something

Canyon doesn't have a middle name that mom and dad use on a regular basis. I suggest his nickname should be annoying.

A-adorable

N-naughty

N-nasty bug eater

O-obnoxious (according to me)

Y-yellow (as in cowardly)

I-in your face all the time

N-needs to learn some doggy manners

G-glued to your side (darn, that lab)

We would like to tag Steve and Kat, Holly, and Ferndoggle.
