Hey Everydoggy!
I told you our humans neglected us and went away for the weekend. Well, I found some pictures to confirm where they went. They went to our Nation's capital, Washington D.C. I told them if I would have known I would have tagged along to do some rallying for Turbo!
So here are the pictures I found. They had a busy two days!
This is the big Triceratops from the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History...
Here's the Washington Monument...
This is a panoramic view of the new WWII veterans' memorial...Dad and the little biped with the White House (Tubey's future home) in the distance...Honest Abe was at the Washington Nationals game vs. the Chicago Cubs. All four presidents from Mt. Rushmore were there. At some point during the game the presidents race each other across the field...This is Screech, the Nationals mascot. Somehow I don't think Kat would find this bird very tasty...On Sunday, they took the metro to visit the National Zoo. Their main destination was the pandas....Here are some pics of the cute and cuddly bears who eat bamboo! Here are two videos of the pandas!
The zoo was celebrating National Migratory Bird Day and in honor of that the U.S. Park Service has birdhouse kits there to make. This is Dad and the little biped making our new birdhouse....
Even though I wasn't along, it looks as if my bipeds had a lot of fun this weekend....

Hey - those Pandas are black and white - just like me! That must be the universal symbol of cuteness. Have the humans presented their official security report of the region? We'll need that for Turbo's safety once he moves in to the giant colorless house. We will need some major crowd control once he's elected. Everyone will be elated you know.

You're right. That bird doesn't look tasty. Too many clothes! Woo!
It does look like your family had a lot of fun, but I'm sure they would have had more fun if they had taken YOU!

Great trip, Kelsey Ann. You are doing a great job keeping the memories documented. The pandas remind us of our Panda. She's gone, but never forgotten. Witty, like Echo, is fond of those black and whites. Come to think of it...so are Lola and Rosemary.
I like the biped 'cuz she's more likely to feed me!
Journey
Storms and I feel a certain kinship with the Pandas! Woo. If your little biped wants to rub a panda tummy, you could send her to my house. I could chew on some bamboo and pretend! Really!
Luv,
Dave
Hey, we stopped by earlier but your blog wouldn't load. Took a while this time but finally got it.
Humans aren't supposed to go away unless they bring you LOTS of VERY special treats. Did they?
I hope that the current occupants of the White House aren't pooping on the carpet!
Wooo! What a trip! The Human Assistant went to D.C. a long time ago. I think the Washington Monument was just being finished!
I don't understand about pandas. They are bears! Carnivores! Why the heck do they sit around eating plants all day?
