Single Sunday - My Buddy, Hennessy

Hey Everydoggy!

Mom's best friend (Hennessy's Mom) since the 10th grade owns a house that is about 3 blocks away from the townhouse where Mom, Dad and I lived during the single days. Back then, there was no Sky, no Canyon and no little biped. Hennessy was a single dog too. He did live with a cat(food) or two. Whenever we would go for walks, we would always stop to see Hennessy and his Mom and Dad. He and I would play some, but neither of us has ever been extremely playful. Now, we're both slow seniors. He can still hear and get around better than me. His current fur-siblings are Bourbon, GSD-lab mix; Drambouie, poma-poo; Chivas, cat(food); and Kahlua, cat(food). We don't often get to visit with each other these days because he lives about 10 miles away and with so many dogs between his humans and mine, its hard to get all the dogs together. I am very excited he is staying with us this week again.
This is Hennessy when he was a puppy. My Dad didn't even know him then. When he did meet my dad, dad instantly became one of his favorite people in the whole wide world. Hennessy flips out everytime he gets to see dad.
Here's Hennessy rocking out to a Prince song on Dec. 31, 1999 (SMS members, here's your earworm for the day!!!)

This is the two of us hanging out together while our humans were hanging out. This was in June of 2001, about 5 months after I met Hennessy. If you look really close you can see I am sharing one of my bones with him.

K.A., I hope you're feeling okay!

I think it's funny when humans name animals after their obsessions. That are completely unrelated.

But better alcohol than sex, huh? :-)
