Everyone's favorite huskador on his adoption day!

Hi All!

I am happy to announce our "little" puppy Canyon is now two years old. Canyon is the first puppy I have ever raised and we couldn't have asked for a better "best friend" for our daughter. We decided to keep him and failed foster puppy transport because our daughter immediately took to him and they were, right away, like two peas in a pod. She calls him her best friend all the time, it is SOOOO sweet. We are so happy we've been able to give him a loving forever home after the early beginnings he had.

Canyon is a wonderful blend of Siberian husky and Labrador retriever, hence the huskador title. The Siberian side of him is ultra playful. He has been a great companion for Sky. Kelsey Ann was getting to old to want to play with Sky and Canyon has filled that role well. The Labrador side of him is loyal and easy-going. It is nice to have one dog who wants to be with you all the time. Canyon sleeps in bed with me every night when Dad is away on business. The Labrador in him also allows him to alert us when there is someone outside, which the two non-territorial huskies in this house would never do!

As much as Kelsey complains about Canyon, he is a wonderful dog and we couldn't have asked for a better addition to our family. We hope he has many more happy years here and our daughter has her "puppy" to love and care for. I know he will always be my puppy!
