Ok, almost wordless....Mom took this picture of me looking very worried. Why am I worried you ask??? Well, I overheard mom talking to our doggy sitter friend, Megan, on the phone. She was talking about hotels and leaving at 6AM on Saturday!!!!!!
Where is my mom going??????
How long will she be gone????
Will she be coming back??????
I think I need to hide the little biped so she has to come back!
The house is likely to fall apart with Dad in charge!!!!!
HELP ME!

Canyon, I don't think you have to resort to hiding the biped. I'm pretty sure us quadropeds are way more important. I think. I hope.

Canyon,
Not Dad in charge! Oh no! You better find the suitcase and pack some fur away for your Mom's trip. She'll be needing some extra fur to keep you top of mind! We Huskadors better stick together.
We'll be thinking of you!
Rosemary
Those words are a cause to be concerned for. Why don't you like dad to be in charge?
Hello Canyon
I am sure your mom will want to come back to you cos you are her furever puppy. Mistress goes away and always comes back. It is very nice when master and I are on our own together - I am sure you will be ok.
Pippa

PeeEss: Extra sugar fur the little bi-ped so she khan have enough energy to hang with all us khanines!
Hey, at least you get to stay at yur house. If our mommy & daddy goes away fur a vacation, we have to go to the doggie hotel & then get a bath & groomed. We would rather stay at our house.

If we leave our place now, can we make it in time for the party!?!?

Canyon, Dad in charge may not mean certain disaster. They're a forgetful breed. Watch for treat bags being left on the counter (unsupervised) and yummy dishes that need to be licked left in the sink. That kinda stuff doesn't happen when Mom's around.
ECHO
Quick, tie up the biped! Hide the car keys! Duct tape yourself to the car!!!!
Oh no Canyon! I hope your mom doesn't go somewhere far. Dads are just not as good at spoiling puppies as moms!
Steve
We're pretty sure your mom will come back! She would never leave you pups for good! Although, come to think of it...our mom left us for THREE weeks one time. We were SURE she wasn't coming back, but she did! Woohoo!

Poppy & Penny
Don't worry, moms always come back. Both our bi-peds left for a few days last week, but they came back. Our dog sitter takes on really great walks & gives us lots of treats when she comes over anyway, so we don't mind too much.
Wooos,
Star & Jack a-roo
Oh Canyon... your bed looks PAWSOME and comfy!!!!!!
